Born from the authentic traditions of Romagna, we are Canada’s only piadineria to Toronto.

We serve Italy’s oldest casual fast food using carefully selected ingredients imported directly from Italy, delivering authentic quality in just minutes.

600 YEARS

OF TRADITION

LANDEND

IN TORONTO

We believe eating well should be part of everyday life, not reserved for special occasions.

Every piadina is an invitation to pause, connect, and share meaningful moments with friends, family, and colleagues… even when time is short.

our story

Last evening before a long flight: bags packed. Boarding pass ready.
That specific kind of Hunger.

Emilio, one of our founders, looked around the terminal. Fast Food that regrets you back. Restaurants with no soul charging fifty dollars a plate. Nothing in between. Nothing that said: sit down, eat well, you'll be alright.

That feeling didn't stay at the gate. It came home with him and turned into a mission.

So a group of Italians, stubborn, passionate, and slightly homesick, decided to brought over Italy's oldest street food: the piadina romagnola. Flatbread born from humble ingredients, eaten for centuries by people who didn't have time to sit at a fancy table but still knew how to eat well.

Today, Bottega della Piadina is in the heart of Toronto, made for anyone who just wants great food, no compromises. Come as you are. Leave full and happy.

the piadina

Golden, warm, and addictively good - the piadina is the Italian street snack that makes pizza jealous. Part ancient tradition, part culinary masterpiece, this flatbread has been stealing hearts since Caesar’s time, perfected in the kitchens of Emilia-Romagna, and is now ready to become your new obsession in Toronto.

While pasta gets all the fame, Italians have been quietly rolling, stuffing, and devouring these circular treasures for generations - faster than you can say

"mamma mia."

One bite, and you’ll be wondering, "How did I live without this?"

Spoiler alert: You weren’t really living.

the crescione

Golden, crisp, and impossibly satisfying - the crescione is the piadina's bolder cousin, the one that shows up to dinner with something extra to say. Same dough, same fire, but folded over and packed with fillings until it's practically bursting at the seams - part sandwich, part masterpiece, all Romagna.

While the piadina keeps things simple, the crescione goes all in - cheese melting, greens wilting, everything coming together in one perfect golden pocket. Generations of Romagnoli have been doing this quietly, expertly, while the rest of the world was still figuring out the toasted sandwich.
